No art work today

Well, I posted a picture and comment yesterday that did not show up on the blog.  And then, I did not get any work done today.  Went to eye doctor and getting cataract surgery in three weeks!  Yeah! Maybe clearer vision will inspire some abstracts.

I think I am going to name him "Phil" - I don't know why, just think he looks like a Phil!

On track now!

 Well, Day 2 of the new year and I actually got some paint on the canvas today!  Each month I change to breakfast table setting.  I loved the drama of this one!

This is a painting that I painted to sell.  I took this picture in New Mexico, I think about 20 years ago.  (Or maybe I just think I did...)  Anyway, liked the photo and decided to paint it.  No sentimental attachment.  I just varnished it today.

This cat was painted in blue as an exercise in painting class last year.  I decided to try to make it look like a "real cat" today.  It still needs work.  Like whiskers that look like cat whiskers! 

Art room ready!

Well, the new year is here and Mike installed my new vertical blinds in my art room.  I am ready to start my one painting a day as of tomorrow.  Used all my energy for today!
